The overall objective of the AWISEM research project converges with the objectives of the Education and Research Ministry's complex projects programme, aiming to increase competitiveness and innovation in the field of scientific and technological research in Romania, by stimulating partnerships in areas of intelligent specialisation, such as energy, environment and climate change. Such projects will have to materialize in advanced technologies and innovative products and services expected to solve the complex societal problems.
The main objective of the AWISEM project is to design, build, test and validate an innovative mobile aerial and aquatic platform equipped with sensors based on CNT composites, in order to detect either ammonia (in the air) or nitrites (in water), during natural environment monitoring missions, also capable of carrying out complementary drone-specific data acquisition during the monitoring mission.
